Madam Editrix

Hello and welcome! I’m Christina.

My love affair with books began early. Before I could even read, I was drawn to the feeling of stories and the sense that entire worlds were waiting just beyond the page. Once I learned how to read, I didn’t just read books. I lived in them.

I’ve always been especially drawn to darker fiction, starting with Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and R.L. Stine’s Fear Street series and continuing into more emotionally layered, complex narratives. I’m fascinated by stories that take risks, including morally gray characters, heavy themes, and plots that don’t follow the expected path.
That said, I work with a wide range of stories, from lighter, more commercial or character-driven work to darker, more complex narratives. What matters most isn’t the tone, but whether the story is working the way you want it to.

I specialize in developmental editing, helping authors identify what isn’t working, why it’s not landing, and how to fix it. My approach is collaborative and direct. I won’t sugarcoat issues, but I also won’t leave you without a clear path forward. You’ll get honest, actionable feedback that strengthens your story while keeping your voice fully intact.

I work with writers across romance, erotica, fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal, and YA, especially those looking to strengthen complex, emotionally layered stories or bring clarity to a draft that isn’t quite coming together.

If you’re ready to get clear on what’s not working and how to fix it, let’s talk.
